Domestic First Year Students

Requirements:

  1. Completing the College Preparatory Curriculum (CPC) with a minimum 3.20 high school GPA.
  2. Completing the CPC with a minimum 2.50 high school GPA on the CPC and a minimum score of 16 on the composite ACT (or 880 on the SAT).
  3. Completing the CPC with a minimum 2.00 high school GPA on the CPC and a minimum composite score of 18 on the ACT (or 960 on the SAT).
  4. Standing with a class rank in the top 50 percent and a minimum score of 16 on the composite ACT (or 880 on the SAT).  
  5. Completing the CPC with a minimum 2.00 high school GPA on the CPC and a minimum composite score of 18 on the ACT (or 860 on the old SAT critical reading/mathematics or 960 on the new SAT).
  6. Satisfying the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) standards for “full qualifiers” or “academic redshirts”.

SAT and ACT Superscore:  MVSU accepts SAT and ACT Superscore. Your Superscore is the total of your highest scores on each test section. It is the responsibility of the prospective student to make sure we receive these scores before any deadline.

Students entering in the 2023-2024 academic year who are unable to access an ACT or SAT exam may be admitted without a standardized test score. Students who complete the CPC with a minimum 2.0 GPA on the CPC will be evaluated for admission. *
